Realm 8 exists to make carefully considered software: applications that are designed rather than assembled, and that hold up under real use on every platform they ship on. Security, scalability, and a product people actually enjoy are not competing goals here. They are the same job, done properly.

The work is deliberately wide-ranging. A device pipeline for a stadium. A CAD plugin that turns floor plans into compliant area reports. A scientific quality-control tool. A mapping application. What those have in common is not an industry. It is that each one had a constraint that made the obvious approach fail, and someone had to sit with the problem long enough to find the approach that didn't.

We are small on purpose. We use current technology aggressively — not as a selling point, but because it is the difference between quoting six months and quoting six weeks, and because it lets the people who understand your problem stay the people who build it.

How we work

The same people who scope your project build it. There is no handoff from the team that sold the work to the team that does it, and no layer of account management between you and the person who knows why a decision was made. You get a real number early, working software often, and a codebase you can maintain without us.

We are AI-native in a specific, unglamorous sense: we built our own development tooling and we run AI in production inside client products, not only in our editors. The result is that a two-person engagement covers ground that normally takes five.

What that does not mean: we do not ship code nobody has read. Every line that reaches your repository has been reviewed by a person who can explain it and defend it.
